Mel Witharana, CEO and founder of Janadhi & Company. In 1999, I came from Sri Lanka to the United States to study business, computer forensics, and communication. While in college, I worked for companies like ICON, and 3M. This inspired me to start and grow a business of my own. Upon creating my company, I realized that there are small businesses that have needs that may not have the resources, or financial capability to cover all aspects to start a business that may have technological gaps. I had one goal in mind when I first started the company, and that is to help small businesses gain a competitive edge over other business, no matter the size. I learned that by helping my clients with all their technological needs, I was gaining more knowledge in this field and in turn making positive strides in my own business.
